First step-
Gather the glass jars you will need for this step. Hot water, soapy water, and thorough drying are allrequired to clean your containers.
Second step-
Put the jars in a plastic bag or container and put them in the freezer for at least two days. The jar lid will come off much easier now.
Third step-
Reheat the jars for 15 minutes at 250°F once they have been removed from the freezer. Once they come out of the oven, the jars should be scalding hot.
Fourth step-
Screw the lids back on and tighten the screws.
Fifth step-
Leave jars upside-down on a towel for at least 24 hours or until they have totally cooled. If you don’t, you will have to go through steps 1-5 a second time.
Final step-
Remove the lids and allow them to dry thoroughly once they have reached room temperature. You now have a total of 18 pieces of stunning recycled glass, which you can either keep for yourself or give as a present!
